Prof. Dr. Christoph Lütge

Prof. Lütge conducts research in the fields of business ethics, ethics of digitalization, CSR and political philosophy. Among other things, he works on ethical guidelines for various digital technologies, such as self-propelled cars, artificial intelligence or health databases. One focus of the methodology is research in the experimental laboratory.


The social acceptance of digital technologies will essentially depend on ethical rules.


Short vita

Prof. Lütge studied philosophy and business informatics. After working in Pittsburgh and San Diego, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Philosophy and Economics at the LMU Munich, where he habilitated in 2005. From 2007 to 2010 he represented several chairs and received a Heisenberg scholarship. Since 2010 he has held the Peter Löscher Endowed Chair of Business Ethics at the Technical University of Munich. Guest professorships have taken him to Kyoto, Taipei and Venice.
